Wisconsin access to health care records, including billing statements

Wisconsin directs health care providers, including hospitals, to provide a patient or an authorized person copies of the patient's health care records on request, upon informed consent and payment of statutorily capped fees. The statutory definition of patient health care records expressly includes billing statements and invoices for treatment or services.
